Disability Support Worker

The All Nations Group Ltd is currently hiring a casual disability support worker. The purpose of the role is to assist clients in performing daily tasks and improve overall independence and wellbeing in a home or community setting.

Location: Various locations

Job responsibilities:

Assisting with daily care for clients at their home including showering, changing clothes, brushing their teeth, etc.
Transporting and accompanying clients when required.
Performing housekeeping including domestic cleaning, laundry, food preparation, shopping.
Training clients to care for themselves and educate family members.
Social support to improve clients’ wellbeing and independence.
Perform administrative duties such as always clocking in/out after each shift, making incident reports, and entering shift notes on the rostering app.
Attending company training when required.
Strictly adhere to the NDIS Quality Standards, and WHS policies.

About you

Confident and calm manner.
Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to adapt communication skills to each client you work with.
Having experience in working with clients having dementia

Essential Criteria for Selection:

You can speak languages other than English & English fluently.
Experience on working with people having a disability.
Having or working toward Certificate Level III in Individual Support or Disability.
Current Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Full driver licence and access to a vehicle.
Current First Aid
